What can I import?
Any audio or video file on your device or in your library. DRM-protected catalog tracks (Apple Music, Spotify) can't be used — that's an Apple/Spotify restriction, not ours.
Does my audio get uploaded?
No. Separation and transcription run on your device. See our Privacy Policy.
What devices does Cymbal need?
An Apple Silicon iPad or Mac. On-device separation relies on the Apple Neural Engine.
The drum chart isn't perfect — why?
Cymbal aims for charts that are close enough to play along to, fast — not engraving-grade transcription. Loop a section and trust your ears.
How do credits and subscriptions work?
You start with free credits. After that, choose a credit bundle or a subscription. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
